MISSION
I am passionate about advocating for individuals living with chronic illness, providing compassionate and expert support to ensure they receive the best care, access to resources, and the guidance they need to navigate both healthcare and insurance systems. My mission is to empower patients by equipping them with the information and resources necessary to take control of their healthcare journey and make well-informed decisions about their health
SPECIALTIES
I am dedicated to addressing various issues, such as navigating insurance, making informed treatment decisions and ensuring that patients receive the care they require. I have extensive knowledge of dysautonomia (including POTs, MAST Cell, and Ehlers Danlos), autoimmune conditions (like RA, PsA, AS, Sjögren's, and Gout), fibromyalgia (including myofascial pain and centralized pain disorders), as well as chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, and health concerns.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
After completing my undergraduate degree in Architecture and Design then earning my MBA, it took me some time to find Dr. Fred Kantrowitz. He was my doctor who ultimately saved my life. In 2019, I began working in his office, where we started having informal lessons on various disease states that he hadn't had the chance to teach in the past. We spent countless hours discussing unique cases and illnesses he had encountered. Over five years, I gained invaluable knowledge and applied it while caring for a diverse patient population. When people often asked why I didn't pursue medical school, I would laugh and reply, "Do you want to pay for it?"
EXPERIENCE
With five years of experience in patient advocacy within a medical office, I have effectively assisted hundreds of individuals and families in navigating and understanding the insurance systems, understanding their treatment options, and obtaining the care they deserve. I am dedicated to making a significant impact the lives of patients.
